Founded in 1988, Taiwan Nakazawa Co., Ltd. has dedicated over 35 years to material analysis and testing equipment, actively participating in the transformation of Taiwanese manufacturing from OEM to global automation.

Beginning as a distributor for premier international brands like Japan’s Future-Tech, we have evolved into a comprehensive solution provider. Today, we not only represent global leaders but also develop and manufacture our own proprietary line of "TN Nakazawa" metallographic pre-treatment equipment, including cutting, mounting, grinding, and polishing systems.

From Distribution to Integration: Our Evolution into Manufacturing

In our early days, Taiwan Nakazawa focused primarily on distributing high-end hardness testing machines from Japan's Future-Tech, deeply cultivating the quality control and material analysis markets. During that era of rapid industrial development in Taiwan, we worked on the front lines, actively participating in the transformation of countless enterprises from traditional manufacturing to automated and smart production.

As our clients' demands for localized, autonomous solutions and technical support grew, we launched our in-house development initiative for metallographic equipment in 2010, establishing the "TN" brand. This complete product line is spearheaded by the Nakazawa team—from design and production to after-sales support—and has been successfully adopted across key industries, including electronics, automotive, steel, education, and scientific research.

With advanced technology and robust manufacturing, Taiwan is standing out on the global stage. As a homegrown brand with over 30 years of deep roots, we are dedicated to embarking on this journey with every client, ensuring that the true value of Taiwan is recognized worldwide.

Taiwan Nakazawa History & Milestones

1988

Taiwan Nakazawa Co., Ltd. was officially established, becoming the exclusive distributor for Japan's Matsuzawa hardness testing machines.

1989

Tainan Branch established

1990

Taichung Branch established

1995

Appointed as the exclusive distributor for Japan’s Future-tech’s full line of hardness testing machines (a partnership spanning 25 years to date).

2001

Established Dongguan Dongze Instrument Co., Ltd. in Guangdong

2002

Established the corporate headquarters at Far East Century Park in Zhonghe, Taipei.

2006

Established Kunshan Fuze Testing Equipment Co., Ltd. in Jiangsu

2008

Appointed as the exclusive distributor in Taiwan for France’s LAM PLAN metallographic grinding and polishing consumables.

2011

Established the manufacturing facility for "TN" brand metallographic pre-treatment equipment.

2012

Appointed as the distributor for Switzerland’s PROCEQ’s full line of hardness testers.

2016

Acquired and established the Physical and Chemical Laboratory & Showroom at Far East Century Park.

2016~2018

Mr. Hung Chou-Hung, Chairman of Taiwan Nakazawa, assumed the presidency of the Taiwan Society for Metal Heat Treatment (TSMHT).

2019

The full range of "TN" brand metallographic equipment successfully obtained CE certification.
