How should a hardness tester be maintained?
1. For non-metallic surfaces, use a soft cloth moistened with a mild liquid detergent to wipe clean. Do not use too much detergent, as it can penetrate into the interior of the machine body and cause damage to components.
2. For metallic surfaces, use a soft cloth moistened with light machine oil to wipe and clean. Do not use too much oil, as excessive oil easily attracts dirt and other debris. Clean the mating surfaces between the lifting screw and the testing platform, the shoulder of the indenter, and the surface of the spindle rod. Dirt, machine oil, metal chips, and other debris on these surfaces will cause inaccurate test results during the testing period.
