The generation of unusual odors during the mounting process is mostly due to the decomposition or volatilization of the mounting resin under heating and pressure conditions.
It is necessary to check whether the mounting resin is within its shelf life and whether the storage conditions are correct; expired or improperly stored resin may lead to deterioration, which can easily produce abnormal odors under normal process conditions. If the resin has deteriorated, it must be replaced with new resin.
Check whether the heating temperature is too high, exceeding the normal processing temperature range of the resin; the temperature controller can be calibrated, and the temperature accurately set according to the requirements of the resin manual to avoid overheating and decomposition of the resin.
Strengthen the ventilation of the work area by installing exhaust fans or opening windows to promptly discharge odorous gases and protect the health of operators.
If the odor persists and is pungent, it may be that other internal components of the equipment are aging or decomposing due to high temperatures, producing odors; the equipment must be shut down for inspection to see if there are abnormalities in heating elements, seals, etc., and damaged parts should be replaced in a timely manner.
