How to resolve heating abnormalities in a metallographic hot mounting machine?

When the heating of the metallographic hot mounting machine is abnormal, it can be solved according to the following steps.
First, check whether the heating element is damaged, using a multimeter to measure the resistance value of the heating element; if the resistance value deviates greatly from the normal value, it indicates that the heating element is damaged and needs to be replaced with a new one.
Next, check whether the temperature control instrument is normal and whether the parameter settings of the instrument are correct; if the parameter settings are incorrect, it will lead to inaccurate heating temperatures, and resetting the correct parameters will suffice.
Also check whether the thermocouple is damaged or improperly positioned; the thermocouple is a key component for temperature detection, and if it is damaged or not correctly placed in the heating area, it will affect temperature feedback, leading to abnormal heating, requiring the replacement of the thermocouple or adjustment of its position.
In addition, check whether the cooling system of the equipment is normal; poor heat dissipation may cause the equipment to stop heating due to overheat protection, so clean the dust from the cooling fan and cooling channels.
