What kinds of errors exist when operating a Vickers hardness tester?

1. Hardness tester adjustment: when starting to measure hardness, the first several test points are not used. Due to poor contact between the sample and the anvil, the measured values are inaccurate. After these point tests are completed, the hardness tester reaches a normal operating mechanism state; then, formal testing is performed on the sample, and the measured hardness values are recorded.
2. In the case of specimens, hardness values are typically tested from at least three different parts, and the average value is taken as the hardness of the test piece.
3. For specimens with complex shapes, corresponding support blocks of different shapes must be used, and testing can only be conducted after they are fixed. Circular specimens should generally be tested in a V-shaped groove.
