A battery-powered thickness gauge designed for handheld testing of metal or coating thickness.
The 243 metal coating thickness gauge is a non-destructive contact type, which can accurately measure the thickness of various metal coatings on iron materials, such as zinc/iron, nickel/iron, chromium/iron, cadmium/iron, copper/iron, etc.
(Zn/Fe, Ni/Fe, Cr/Fe, Cd/Fe, Cu/Fe, etc)


243 is a handheld instrument, Just connect a test head to measure the thickness of the coating on many irons. The probe is equipped with a tiny probe to accurately measure even a small area. The measurement accuracy can be comparable to X-ray thickness gauges.


213, 223, 233 magnetic mode

All non-magnetic coatings, such as zinc, chromium, cadmium, tin, copper, Teflon, epoxy, paint, powder coatings, powder coatings or enamels on iron-containing substrates.


Vortex mode
All non-conductive coatings, such as anodizing, paint, enamel/enamel, powder coating or epoxy on non-ferrous substrates such as copper, brass or aluminum.
